Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into the family of South London. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss, while the mother of her is English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She graduated with a BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In her time at the school, she performed in several stage productions, like King Henry V's princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her acting career in the film Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film is the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following film, she was the lead in Elisha in an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in six episodes each of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the title character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment 2008. The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with her dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before being cancelled on The CW. The actress was selected in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes in the series' first two seasons as an regular. In May of 2013, word broke that the actress would be departing the show following her guest appearance on the opening episode for its third season. On the show Salem, she played Tituba between 2014 and the year 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he is also a part of the cast on the TV show Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Ashley Leggat joined Roy and Patty as well her older siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She would dance. So when she was just 2 1/2 years old when she was a little older, she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer following this. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre as well as pointe until the time she completed in high school. Ashley was awarded the best soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
